The majority of the produce used by our cooks comes from either our own vegetable garden or local producers.

We give full priority to the product´s quality and our dishes are made freshly every day using traditional recipes that have been passed on from generation to generation. A legacy to be proud of.

We cook traditional Galician food and only offer those products which are in season because we are committed to respecting the earth´s natural cycle.

Potatoes and other vegetables as well as fruits like figs, prunes, apples, pears, oranges, cherries and loquats are grown in our vegetable garden. These are of primary importance to our cuisine and therefore we would love to share them with you all.

Combining traditional cooking with locally and manually sourced ingredients contributes to sustainability and good quality employment within our village.

It is this way that the women from A Casa de Rosa de Mazaroca want to show our commitment towards the conservation of the environment.

This commitment goes beyond where we source our products from. The restaurant is located in a building from the early 1900 that has been renovated preserving its original architecture whenever possible. In order to reduce energy consumption, the building has been properly isolated and solar panels installed.
